We spoke to Molly from Tweak Facial Enhancements about running a small business.

Tell us a bit about your business

My business is called Tweak Facial Enhancements and I enhance people’s natural beauty with small tweaks. I also offer accredited lash courses where I provide other beauty enthusiasts with the skills and knowledge to create their own successful beauty business.

What’s the best thing about running a small business?

I enjoy the freedom and flexibility I have to make my own schedule and I have met some of the most amazing people along my journey.

And what are the biggest challenges?

One of the biggest challenges for me is the financial side. Being in charge of the expenses and setting your own wages can be very stressful sometimes, but Lopay has helped me categorise my income so I know when I’m getting paid and I can go back and check reports, which is essential when it’s time to do the yearly self assessment.

What advice would you give to someone starting a small business?

Your past does not equal your future. With the right mindset you will succeed, enjoy the journey.
