Who we are

We started Lopay because we noticed that UK small businesses are paying too much just to get paid. Global payment giants are taking a hefty percentage of every payment,  without offering the flexibility or friendly support that these businesses need.

So Lopay launched in January 2022, created by a team of experts with years of experience building payment and technology products.

We’re now helping everyone from taxi drivers to barbers, pet groomers to builders, and market traders to dry cleaners, keep more of the money they earn. And thanks to feedback from these early customers, we’ve grown - and will continue to grow - into the go-to solution for business owners, sole traders, entrepreneurs and side hustlers looking for a cheaper, fairer, more flexible way to manage their money.
