What is the Lopay card reader?

The Lopay card reader is a card machine for small businesses, sole traders, or anyone taking in-person payments. 

Once you’re set up, you’ll be able to enter an amount on the Lopay app and send it to the card reader. Your customers can then make Chip and PIN or contactless payments with their debit or credit card, or using Google Pay or Apple Pay.

How do I order one?

You can order your reader from the Lopay app, and you should receive it within 5 working days.

How much does it cost?

You can order your first Lopay card reader in the app for £24 plus P+P.

Once you’ve got your reader there are no monthly costs, just our transaction fees which you can find on our pricing page.

How do I get set up?

Just follow the instructions in the Lopay app to get started. The first time you connect your reader you’ll need to wait a few minutes for it to update.
